OVECOME: Bridging Gaps in the Transition to Adulthood

Overcome's mission is to bridge the critical gaps in their transition to adulthood by providing needed support and services, essential life skills, and the tools needed to foster personal growth, resilience, and long-term success.

Our goal is to work with people and organizations that share our values and want to support young adults as they move toward independence. We plan to partner with groups like Mentor Greater Milwaukee, Secure Futures, EMPLOY Milwaukee, and Black Space, along with others that offer important services such as job training, education, financial literacy, life skills, and trauma-informed care.

In the future, we also hope to provide access to affordable workforce housing, because we believe that having a stable place to live is essential for young adults to succeed—whether they choose to start a business or build a career.
